  • How much of the yard is cleaned?
We will clean the parts your dog has access to.
  • Do I need to be home during the service?
No, you don’t need to be home during the service. We can clean your yard while you’re away, as long as we have access to the designated area. If you have a locked gate, arrangements can be made to ensure access, such as providing a key or code. If your dog is in the yard during service, it’s usually not a problem, as long as they are friendly. However, if your pet is nervous around strangers, it may be best to bring them inside during the cleaning.
  • How often should I have my yard cleaned?
The frequency of pet waste removal depends on the number of pets you have and how often they go outside. Many customers choose a weekly or bi-weekly service to keep their yard consistently clean and odor-free. If you have multiple dogs or a high-traffic yard, twice-a-week or even daily service may be ideal. Regular cleaning prevents waste buildup, reduces odors, and minimizes the risk of bacteria and parasites affecting your family and pets.
  • Is pet waste harmful to my lawn or the environment?
Yes, pet waste can be harmful to your lawn and the environment. Unlike fertilizer, dog waste is highly acidic and can burn your grass, leading to unsightly brown spots. It also contains bacteria and parasites that can contaminate soil and water sources. Rainwater can wash bacteria from pet waste into storm drains, contributing to water pollution. Regular waste removal helps protect your lawn, keeps your outdoor space safe.
  • Is pet waste removal safe for my pets and family?
Yes, professional pet waste removal is designed to be safe for both pets and people. At Ranger Scoopers we use sanitized equipment and follow strict hygiene practices to prevent the spread of bacteria or parasites. First we alert via text when we are in route. Second, we text a picture of your locked gate. Finally, we use a new bag every yard, and spray off all equipment with antiviral and antibacterial cleansers.
